Gerard Edery and Flamenco Sepharad are no museum curators. They’ve taken Sephardic Jewish Oldies and unfrozen the music by incorporating contemporary Nuevo Flamenco melodic and jazz rhythmic elements. The result is a Jewish music that retains its roots while sounding as fresh as if it had just come off a Barcelona dance floor

Be dazzled by a passionate program of music and song from the Sephardic and Andalusian worlds. Gerard Edery presents a seamless fusion of two musical traditions powerfully linked by language and culture. The many songs in Ladino, Spanish, Arabic and Hebrew create a stirring combination unlike any other. Emotive vocals, flamenco guitar, virtuoso bass and world beat percussion make this show a must see!

Flamenco Sepharad is a multidisciplinary program of song and dance featuring the fusion of passionate flamenco and the music of the Sephardic diaspora. Fiery rhythms and sensual dance combine for a heart throbbing show.
